A spectacular union of music and muscle
In a world that grows louder every day, where messages, expectations and traditions compete for our attention, LOUDER focuses on the things that cut through. The work asks which ideas endure, which evolve and which fall away.
Circus and classical music are two of the world’s most powerful artistic traditions. Both rely on shared timing, trust and precision. Both can feel timeless or suddenly outdated depending on how they meet the present moment. LOUDER brings these traditions together to explore what still speaks to us, what demands renewal and what we might be ready to let go.
A major new work by Gravity and Other Myths with the Brandenburger Symphoniker
A full symphony orchestra shares the stage with Gravity & Other Myths’ acrobats. Together they build a shifting landscape of human towers, soaring throws, collapsing structures and moments of playful ingenuity. The sheer physicality of the ensemble tests the scale and certainty of classical tradition, revealing how both forms adapt, stretch and surprise when placed side by side.
LOUDER harnesses the power of circus and the scale of orchestral sound to create a performance that feels both immense and intimate. It is a work about attention, connection and the elements that remain visible and true when the world becomes overwhelming.
Epic, playful and unmistakably human, LOUDER invites audiences to reconsider the traditions we inherit and the ones we choose to carry forward.
